Our terracotta idols are reusable – you can dust them with a cloth or a brush to remove any dust or wash them should you want to give the idol a thorough cleaning.
Which clay is used for making idols?
A part of our terracotta clay is sourced from Gujrat and the remaining is sourced from around where our factory is located. Our artisans mix them in standard proportions, sift them through fine sieves and once our artists are satisfied with the consistency and texture of the mix, they fashion idols out of them.Â
How do you make a clay idol?
Trance Terra clay idols are handcrafted by the artisans that work with us. We have extensive brainstorming sessions with our founder and the artists where we discuss the size and the variety of forms that the idols shall bear. The foundation for all idols is similar but every idol turns out to be very unique.
